New insurance option!
To check insurance option first, please visit the Lactation Network. Then fill out "Yes" for question 1, then type in "Mara Lubic" for your IBCLC.
Turn around time is very quick, once you have approval - you schedule a visit directly with me. Also, once approved it will be approved for up to 3 visits total.
An initial home visit ranges from 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We will conduct a comprehensive assessment, including history of pregnancy, delivery, and breastfeeding to date. The assessment involves a physical exam of mother’s breasts and baby’s mouth structure, as well as a baby weight check. A full feeding will be observed to assess milk transfer and feeding patterns. An individualized plan will be developed with you to help you reach your breastfeeding goals!
A follow up is for any additional home visits after the first consult. This appointment is more of a quick visit to help with any “hands on” concerns that couldn't be resolved with a phone call or email. Our goal is to problem solve and provide you with guidance and support to help meet your breastfeeding goals!
